This Privacy Policy explains how Andrew Tsuro & Associates (Pty) Ltd collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit this website, make an enquiry, buy or complete a digital assessment, schedule a conversation, or engage our leadership development, coaching, speaking or facilitation services.
1. Who is responsible for your information
Andrew Tsuro & Associates (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website. It is a private company registered in South Africa under registration number 2026/510031/07. Director: Andrew Tsuro. Business and legal service address: 1224 Embankment Street, Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa.
Privacy enquiries and requests may be sent to booking@andrewtsuro.com. Order, cancellation and refund enquiries may be sent to refunds@andrewtsuro.com.
2. Information we may collect
We collect only information reasonably required to respond to you, deliver services, administer purchases, protect the website and understand whether our communications are effective. This may include:
- Your name, organisation, role, email address and telephone or WhatsApp number.
- Information about your event, audience, programme, coaching need, preferred date, location, budget or other requirements that you choose to provide.
- Correspondence, proposals, contracts, invoices, attendance records and service feedback.
- Scheduling information submitted through Calendly.
- For a purchase: billing name, email address, billing address, country, product, order amount, order status, payment status, transaction identifiers and support correspondence.
- Basic technical information such as device type, browser, referring page, approximate location derived from an IP address, campaign parameters and website activity.
- Cookie or analytics information where those technologies are enabled and, where required, you have consented.
Please do not submit confidential, sensitive or special personal information through the general enquiry form unless it is genuinely necessary and we have agreed on a secure way to receive it.
3. Assessment and Decision Lab data
For the free Leadership Readiness Decision Check, we collect your name, email address, country, professional role and reason for taking the assessment so that we can generate and deliver your private result and understand which leadership needs bring people to the service. Organisation, team responsibility and telephone or WhatsApp number are optional. We retain the result link for 30 days. If you do not separately agree to marketing, the associated contact record is deleted after 90 days.
Permission to receive leadership insights, assessment news and invitations is optional, unticked by default and not required to receive a result. Where you give that permission, we record the wording accepted, date, contact details, country and the professional context you supplied. You may withdraw permission at any time by emailing booking@andrewtsuro.com.
When you complete a paid Decision Lab, your individual item responses are processed temporarily to calculate the result. They are not retained after scoring. We retain only the capability scores, confidence forecasts and calibration gaps needed to produce your report, together with the assessment type and version and limited consent, completion and last-access timestamps.
The private access token itself is not stored in readable form. A one-way hash is stored so the system can validate a private assessment or report link. Assessment access data and aggregate scores are retained for up to 30 days and are then deleted automatically. You should save or print your report before that period ends.
The assessments are for adults aged 18 or older. They are educational self-reflection tools, not psychometric, clinical or diagnostic assessments. We do not use their results to make automated decisions about employment, credit, eligibility or access to services.
4. How we use personal information
We may use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and assess whether Andrew is a suitable fit for an engagement.
- Schedule calls, prepare proposals and administer speaking, coaching, facilitation and training engagements.
- Process and confirm orders, provide private assessment access, calculate aggregate scores, generate reports, provide support and handle cancellations or refunds.
- Communicate with clients, participants, suppliers and event organisers.
- Maintain appropriate business, order, tax, accounting and legal records.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website, checkout and enquiry process.
- Measure legitimate marketing activity and understand which content or campaigns generate enquiries.
- Send updates or marketing communications only where permitted by law. You may unsubscribe at any time.
5. Legal grounds for processing
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we process information because you have consented; because it is necessary to take steps at your request or perform an agreement, including an assessment purchase; because we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing the service that does not override your rights; or because we must comply with a legal obligation.
You consent to the temporary processing of assessment answers when you choose to complete the tool and confirm the consent notice. You may withdraw consent before submitting your answers. After submission, the limited stored assessment data can be deleted on request unless another lawful reason requires retention.
6. Orders and payments
WooCommerce creates and stores the order record needed to administer your purchase. PayPal processes payment and may provide us with payment status, payer details and transaction identifiers. PayPal handles payment credentials under its own privacy terms. We do not ask you to send full card numbers, passwords or security codes through this website or email.
Purchase and accounting records are retained separately from the 30-day assessment data for as long as reasonably required by tax, accounting, consumer-protection, fraud-prevention or other applicable laws.
7. Enquiry forms and email
Website enquiries are stored privately in the WordPress administration area and a notification is sent to booking@andrewtsuro.com. We use reasonable anti-spam, validation and rate-limiting measures. Email is not guaranteed to be completely secure, so please do not email passwords, identity documents, payment-card information or other highly sensitive data.
8. Cookies, checkout and embedded media
The website may use essential cookies needed for security, WordPress, WooCommerce cart and checkout functions, payment processing, and private assessment access. These technologies are necessary to provide the service you request. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, they should be managed through an appropriate consent tool where the law requires consent.
YouTube videos use a privacy-enhanced domain and are loaded only after you choose to play them. Using PayPal or following a link to Calendly, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram or YouTube may allow that service to receive technical or account information and apply its own privacy terms.
9. Who may receive information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with service providers that support hosting, WordPress, WooCommerce, PayPal payments, email, scheduling, analytics, IT, accounting, legal or professional services; with facilitators or delivery partners involved in an agreed engagement; with a client organisation where you participate in its programme; or where disclosure is required by law, a regulator or a lawful court order.
Service providers are expected to use information only for the authorised purpose and to apply appropriate security and confidentiality safeguards.
10. International processing
Because the company works across Africa and internationally and uses global technology providers, information may be processed in a country different from the one where you live. Where required, we use contractual, organisational or other lawful safeguards designed to provide an appropriate level of protection.
11. Retention
Assessment aggregate scores and access data are kept for up to 30 days. Unsuccessful or preliminary enquiries are normally kept for no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or there is a lawful reason to retain them. Client, contracting, order and financial records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, insurance, consumer-protection or other applicable laws. Information is then deleted, anonymised or securely archived where reasonably practicable.
12. Security and private links
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, including access controls, secure hosting, HTTPS, authenticated email delivery, software updates, backups, restricted WordPress records and one-way hashing of assessment access tokens. No internet system is completely risk-free, and we cannot promise absolute security.
An assessment or report link is a private bearer link: anyone who has it may be able to open the associated page during the access period. Keep it confidential, do not forward or publish it, and contact us promptly if you believe it has been exposed.
13. Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to ask for access to your information; request correction or deletion; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; request a portable copy; or complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including the Information Regulator of South Africa where applicable. These rights may be limited where another law requires us to retain information.
To exercise a privacy right, email booking@andrewtsuro.com. For assessment or order data, include the order number and the email address used at checkout. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
14. Children
This website and its enquiry service are intended for business and professional audiences. The digital Leadership Practice Check is available only to adults aged 18 or older. A parent, guardian, school or contracting organisation should contact us before providing personal information about a minor for any other service.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will show when it was last materially revised.
