Andrew Tsuro & Associates

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Andrew Tsuro and the people or service providers supporting the Andrew Tsuro & Associates practice (“Andrew Tsuro”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit this website, make an enquiry, schedule a conversation or engage our leadership development, coaching, speaking or facilitation services.

1. Who is responsible for your information

Andrew Tsuro is responsible for the personal information processed through this website and in connection with enquiries made through it. The practice operates from Harare and Johannesburg and works with clients across Africa and internationally.

Privacy enquiries may be sent to booking@andrewtsuro.com.

2. Information we may collect

We collect only information reasonably required to respond to you, deliver services, protect the website and understand whether our communications are effective. This may include:

  • Your name, organisation, role, email address and telephone or WhatsApp number.
  • Information about your event, audience, programme, coaching need, preferred date, location, budget or other requirements that you choose to provide.
  • Correspondence, proposals, contracts, invoices, attendance records and service feedback.
  • Scheduling information submitted through Calendly.
  • Basic technical information such as your device type, browser, referring page, approximate location derived from an IP address, campaign parameters and website activity.
  • Cookie or analytics information where those technologies are enabled and, where required, you have consented to them.

Please do not submit confidential, sensitive or special-category information through the general enquiry form unless it is genuinely necessary and we have agreed on a secure way to receive it.

3. How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and assess whether Andrew is a suitable fit for an engagement.
  • Schedule calls, prepare proposals and administer speaking, coaching and training engagements.
  • Communicate with clients, participants, suppliers and event organisers.
  • Deliver services, maintain appropriate business records and meet tax, accounting or legal obligations.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and its enquiry process.
  • Measure legitimate marketing activity and understand which content or campaigns generate enquiries.
  • Send updates or marketing communications only where permitted by law. You may unsubscribe at any time.

4. Legal grounds for processing

Depending on the circumstances and the law applicable to you, we process information because you have consented; because it is necessary to take steps at your request or perform an agreement; because we have a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights; or because we must comply with a legal obligation.

5. Enquiry forms and email

Website enquiries are stored privately in the WordPress administration area and a notification is sent to booking@andrewtsuro.com. We use reasonable anti-spam, validation and rate-limiting measures. Email is not guaranteed to be completely secure, so please do not email passwords, identity documents, payment-card information or other highly sensitive data.

6. Cookies, analytics and embedded media

The website may use essential cookies needed for security or normal WordPress operation. If analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, they should be managed through an appropriate consent tool where the law requires consent.

YouTube videos use a privacy-enhanced domain and are loaded only after you choose to play them. Playing a video or following a link to Calendly, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram or YouTube may allow that service to receive technical information and apply its own privacy terms. Those services are independently responsible for their processing.

7. Who may receive information

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with trusted hosting, email, scheduling, analytics, IT, payment, accounting, legal or professional service providers; with facilitators or delivery partners involved in an agreed engagement; with a client organisation where you participate in its programme; or where disclosure is required by law, a regulator or a lawful court order.

Service providers are expected to use information only for the authorised purpose and to apply appropriate security and confidentiality safeguards.

8. International processing

Because Andrew works across Africa and internationally, information may be processed in a country different from the one where you live. Where required, we use contractual, organisational or other lawful safeguards designed to provide an appropriate level of protection.

9. Retention

Unsuccessful or preliminary enquiries are normally kept for no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or there is a lawful reason to retain them. Client, contracting and financial records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, insurance or other applicable laws. Information is then deleted, anonymised or securely archived where reasonably practicable.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, including access controls, secure hosting, HTTPS, authenticated email delivery, software updates, backups and restricted WordPress records. No internet system is completely risk-free, and we cannot promise absolute security.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to ask for access to your information; request correction or deletion; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; request a portable copy; or complain to the relevant data-protection authority. These rights may be limited where another law requires us to retain information.

To exercise a privacy right, email booking@andrewtsuro.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

12. Children

This website and its enquiry service are intended for business and professional audiences and are not directed to children. A parent, guardian, school or contracting organisation should contact us before providing personal information about a minor.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top will show when it was last materially revised.
